Island View Casino - Gulfport History

The Island View Casino is a replacement to the Copa Casino which was washed onto the second floor parking garage of neighboring Grand Casino Gulfport during Hurricane Katrina. The Island View Casino's owners bought the Grand Casino Gulfport from Harrah's post-Katrina. The two properties are being merged into one as Island View Casino is constructed. Opening date of phase one was September 18, 2006.
