The Gold Strike opened in 1994 as a Circus-Circus (yep, thats true). It changes its name to Gold Strike in 1997 and adds a 31-story hotel tower.

Gold Strike's 31 story hotel tower features 1,200 rooms including Deluxe Guest Rooms and Suites. Guest rooms are nicely decorated, clean, not incredibly fancy, but not gaudy or gross either. The jacuzzi suite on the other hand is pimp tastic, large, well designed and is the shit. The jacuzzi suite is the one you want to book.

Probably the classiest hotel casino in Tunica. I haven't stayed here, but have heard good things about the rooms. Limits are higher than most places in Tunica. They offer a low-limit single deck blackjack (usually $5 or $10), but you'll have to live with the 6:5 payout. They offer 3:2 on the higher limit SD (usually around $25). The buffet is quite lackluster given the price and classiness of the rest of the building. Eat at Horseshoe's buffet, just about 200 yards away, instead.
