Coushatta Casino is a tribal operated resort in Kinder, Louisiana. It's about an hours drive north of Lake Charles. Since it's a land based casino, Coushatta Casino Resort is quite large compared to many of its riverboat or moored neighbors.

Coushatta Casino Resort has four hotel options in the immediate vicinity. The Coushatta Grand Hotel (fancy), Coushatta Grand Inn (rustic and fancy), Kaosati Pines Lodge (not so fancy) and the Red Shoes RV Park. They're all good options if you want to stay and play.

Coushatta Casino Resort has six dining options - Big Sky Steakhouse (steakhouse), Gumbeaux (seafood, cajun style w/sports bar and oysters), Seven Clans Buffet (oddly named buffet), Terrace Cafe (yummy coffee shop breakfasts, sandwiches and burgers), Cafe Grande (caffeine and pastries) and the Big Top Sandwich Shop.


Lucky Vibes at Coushatta Casino Resort

Coushatta Grand Casino Resort is a gigantic dome like structure with neon lights around the inside. To some degree it looks like the Reno Peppermill but not nearly as insane and over the top. They offer slots, table games, poker room and a special high limit area. Coushatta Casino Resort isn't a riverboat - the place is quite large.
